At SANKI, every Friday means a new drop.
That's the promise — small, focused releases of tees, hoodies, lowers, shirts, denim, shorts, and co-ord sets. Hand-cut. Universal sizing. Rarely restocked. If you've bought from us before, you know the rhythm. If you're new here, this is how it actually works.
The Friday cadence
We drop new pieces every Friday. Not because Fridays are a marketing gimmick — because a weekly cadence is the honest limit of what our Delhi atelier can produce without cutting corners. Each drop is planned around fabric arrival, cutting time, sewing capacity, and quality inspection. When we say "hand-cut", we mean it — patterns are cut by our team in Delhi, not on an outsourced production line.
A typical drop contains between 25 and 60 garments per design. Sometimes fewer for a fabric we've only sourced enough of once. Sometimes slightly more when a print performs well and we've committed to a second run.
Why we rarely restock
Most brands operate on the same-forever loop: hero SKUs on evergreen production, seasonal collections stacked on top. The SANKI approach is closer to a workshop's — we make what we can make well, we release it Friday, and once it's gone it's usually gone.
Rarely restocked doesn't mean never restocked. If a piece sells out fast and the fabric is still available, we may cut a second small batch. That happens maybe once every couple of months, and we announce it — we don't quietly relist. The default assumption should always be: if you want the drop, get it on the Friday.
Why do it this way? Two reasons.
First, it's the only way to be honest about "hand-cut in the Delhi atelier." A brand promising both high volume and hand-craft is quietly lying about one of them. We'd rather cap the volume than cap the truth.
Second, it changes what buying SANKI feels like. You're not adding a permanent SKU to your cart — you're catching a piece that will exist as a small cohort of maybe 40 garments in the world. That scarcity is the point.
What's in a drop
Every Friday drop typically includes a mix of:
- 1–3 tees (usually oversized, occasionally boxy or short-sleeved)
- 1 hoodie or sweatshirt
- 1–2 lowers (tapered, relaxed, or jogger cut)
- Occasionally: shirts, denim, shorts, or a co-ord set that pairs with an existing top
Prices range from ₹1,499 for a graphic tee to ₹4,499 for a heavier denim or shirt. Everything ships free within India. Cash on Delivery is available across the country with a small advance to reserve the piece.
Universal sizing across the drop
Every SANKI piece is cut in what we call Universal sizing — seven sizes per garment, using one physical pattern designed to fit a wide range of bodies through drape rather than tight tailoring.
For tops, that means the same piece is offered as M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL. For bottoms, waist sizes 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40. The fit is intentional — oversized on smaller frames, relaxed on the target size, structured on larger ones. It's the same garment; the size you pick controls how it sits, not how it's cut.
If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. If you're new, our AI Fit page will walk you through a quick set of questions to recommend a starting size.
How to know when a drop lands
Three ways:
- Website: The drop goes live on sanki.online every Friday at 8pm IST. New pieces show up under Shop All.
- Instagram: Announcements + previews the day before on @sanki.officiall.
- WhatsApp: If you want the earliest heads-up, message us at +91-9540-541212 and we'll add you to the drop broadcast.
For the biggest drops we also post to our Janakpuri flagship at A-3/226, Janakpuri, so if you're local, you can see and try the drop the same day.
COD and the ₹200 advance
Cash on Delivery is available pan-India. Because drops are small, we ask for a ₹200 advance when you place a COD order — this reserves the piece for you. The advance is deducted from your final bill on delivery. This is how we prevent a single day's inventory from being hostage to no-shows.
Prepaid orders skip the advance and get 10% off automatically, plus first-order buyers get ₹100 off with code SA100.
What "rarely restocked" means for you, practically
- If a specific piece is in the current Friday drop and it's your size, buy it Friday. Don't wait for Monday.
- If a piece has already sold out, message us on WhatsApp — sometimes we can tell you if a second cut is planned.
- If you missed a piece and it doesn't return, we sometimes cut a spiritual successor with a similar fabric or silhouette in a later drop. Following our Instagram is the easiest way to see those.
That's the honest version of the SANKI drop calendar. Small numbers. Small cohorts. Friday rhythm. Rarely restocked, sometimes restocked. Same atelier, same team, same city.
See you at the next drop.
